'No ID, No Sale!' Retail Packs
The 'No ID, No Sale!' Retail Pack is available free of charge to ACS, NFRN, GRF members and other independent retailers. Packs are sealed and can be posted out individually or delivered in boxes of 10 packs. The purpose of the 'No ID, No Sale!' retail packs is to help retailers keep on the right side of trading standards. The contents of the packs include eye-catching materials that help retailers comply with the underage laws by advising customers that they should expect to be asked for identification if they are attempting to purchase age-restricted goods. The packs also include materials boasting an exciting new promotion that allows customers scanning the QR code to apply for a discounted £7.50 CitizenCard. This is an easy way to redirect someone without valid identification to apply for a PASS-accredited CitizenCard.
The 'No ID, No Sale!' Retail Pack
1x A3 Statutory Tobacco Notice
- size A3 poster; its bold yellow background and capitalized black text make it difficult to go unnoticed, helping you make the first step in remaining compliant with the law
- poster reads 'It is illegal to sell tobacco products to anyone under the age of 18'
- if you sell tobacco, or tobacco related products in your store, it is a legal requirement to display this notice
- it is an offence if you do not have the required notice on display; you risk being fined up to £1000
25x CitizenCard Application forms
- PASS is the UK Government Approved Standard for proof of age
- you will receive 25 CitizenCard applications in your Retail Pack
- hand these out to anyone wanting to apply for a CitizenCard proof of age and ID card by post
- we recommend keeping these near your till, in order to quickly be able to advise somebody to apply for a CitizenCard, if that person was unable to produce valid ID
- this helps you remain compliant in age verification
